Program Match Robot 2026 Now Live
CharacterIX® Program Match Robot has been fully updated with 2026-YKS data. Goal: to make 2026-YKS admission counseling more controlled, verifiable, and personalized — with field checks, expanded program details, and a system that works in five languages.
This content has been prepared both for admission counselors who want to guide their students more accurately, and for students and their families who want to understand the process on their own. With its five-language structure, the Program Match Robot is a rare and original tool in this field.
We strongly recommend that admission counseling experts review the CharacterIX® Program Match Robot, which has been comprehensively updated and improved in line with 2026-YKS data. The goal of the new version isn't just to provide more data; it's to guide students step by step, through a clear process, toward the programs that best fit them.
CharacterIX's career-aptitude assessment now comes together with ÖSYM's official program data on a single screen. This means students can evaluate not only which programs their score qualifies them for, but also which programs might genuinely suit them.
"Let's Find the Right Programs for You, Together"
In the new version, this section has been completely redesigned. A "narrow-field study" means a counselor can run a more precise, focused admission analysis around a specific career, program, score type, city, or university group. Through a short 9-step flow, the system guides the student as follows:
At the end of this flow, the results screen lets students and counselors filter the programs that fit them, customize the columns of the results table as needed, and access detailed quota and admission information for every program — all from a single screen. A dedicated "Columns" menu lets users choose exactly which data points to display (university, program, status, program code, language of instruction, tuition type, duration, lowest score, success ranking, and more), while a program-detail window shows quota figures, score type, and pre- and post-admission results for each individual program.
More Controlled, More Detailed, More Reliable
- ✓Field checks have been added: the system now automatically checks how well a program matches the student's selected interest or career field, helping filter out programs that are a poor fit.
- ✓Program status information has been added to the system: whether a program is a "new department" or an "existing department," and whether its quota is "full" or "open," can now be seen at a glance.
- ✓Program-related details have been expanded; quota, pre-admission, and post-admission data are now presented separately and clearly.
- ✓The data infrastructure has been rebuilt: roughly 108,000 rows of detailed ÖSYM data have been reprocessed, so that high-volume ÖSYM data can be handled in a more controlled and reliable way.
What changed for counselors? Faster program elimination, more controlled narrow-field studies, one-screen access to program details, up-to-date ÖSYM data, and the ability to communicate with students and families in different languages.
Popular Career Fields
When a counselor selects one of the 9 popular career fields below, they can view and compare every program in that field together, on a single working screen:
| ⚖️ Law | 🏛️ Architecture & Design | 🩺 Medicine |
| ⚙️ Engineering | 🦷 Dentistry | 🐾 Veterinary Medicine |
| 📚 Teaching | 💳 Banking & Finance | ✈️ Aviation |
An Admission-Counseling Tool That Works in 5 Languages
In the new version of the Program Match Robot, language support was rebuilt from the ground up. The platform now works in five languages:
This means prospective students living abroad, international students, and families who speak a different native language can all follow the process in their own language. For admission counselors, this means being able to serve not only the domestic student population but also students abroad, in their own language.
This five-language structure is what makes the Program Match Robot a rare and original tool in this field.
Built Only on Official Sources
All data used in the Program Match Robot has been built exclusively on official sources.
2026-YKS Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide, ÖSYM, pp. 15–17. The common and differing columns found in Table-3 and Table-4 were merged into a single, unified data structure.
ÖSYM's "Numerical Information Regarding 2026-YKS Placement Results" document was used.
Important: Figures such as success ranking and the lowest admitted score belong to post-admission data. The data structure has been specifically designed to keep pre-admission and post-admission data from being mixed, with the most current information always used as the basis.
Shared program information can be independently verified by anyone by entering the relevant program code into YÖK Atlas — allowing both counselors and students to confirm the accuracy of the data themselves.
but also "how well does this program and career actually suit me?"
